🗺️ Typing Levels Guide

Typing Training is a 20-level journey from two keys to the whole keyboard. This table is generated from the game's actual curriculum, so it always matches what your child sees.

How the progression works

Levels introduce keys in finger pairs — the matching finger on each hand learns its key at the same time. Word lists at every level use only keys that have already been taught, so a child is never asked to type something they haven't learned. By Level 10 the whole alphabet is unlocked; Levels 11–20 add capitals, punctuation, numbers, and symbols.

What "mastering" a level looks like

A level is genuinely learned when a child can type its words accurately and without looking down — not when they've simply scraped past it once. Speed is not the bar. A good signal to move on is two or three clean, comfortable runs in a row; if accuracy is wobbling, that's the level to repeat, and repeating is practice, not failure.

Expect a temporary slowdown whenever a level introduces something new — capitals at Level 11, then punctuation, numbers, and symbols. That dip is the brain rewiring, and speed always returns higher than before. For realistic pace expectations, see typing speed by age.
